After the Revlon Ultra HD lipstick in Azalea, I went ahead and bought two more shades from the same range. Here I am reviewing the Revlon Ultra HD lipstick in Marigold. Read on to find out more about this shade.

My Experience with Revlon Marigold Ultra HD Lipstick:
Packaging: This lipstick comes in a sleek packaging with a transparent cap. The tube is a beautiful reflective silver and has Revlon printed at the base. A color-coded sticker at the bottom of the tube has the shade name and also helps identify the lipstick if you have multiples of them. The packaging is pretty simple; yet it looks classy. Unfortunately, this lipstick does not swivel all the way down inside the tube and there is always the danger of nicking some part of the lipstick while trying to put the cap on.
Shade: Marigold is a lovely orange shade. This shade instantly reminds me of orange popsicles and summer 😛 Until recently, I was hesitant to pick up shades like this. But, I am so glad that I have overcome that fear now. Marigold is a shade which brightens up the face without looking too bright or neon-ish. Anybody who is just about starting out on orange lipsticks should try this shade out.
Texture, Finish, Pigmentation: This lipstick is wax-free and is made up of gel instead. Hence, it feels quite balm like on the lips. It glides smoothly on the lips and doesn’t tug at your lips at all. It doesn’t feel drying over time and those with dry lips will also enjoy using this lipstick. The lipstick has a beautiful glossy finish and I love that it does not accentuate any lines on the lips.
This particular shade is slightly on the sheer side. Even though it covers your lips in a single swipe, it doesn’t really go completely opaque and some lip color peeps through. The upside of a sheer pigmentation is that it does not end up looking garish.
The lipstick lasts for about 3-4 hours and survives light snacking. It does not leave behind any stain on the lips. The lipstick has a mild mango-like fragrance. I am fine with this fragrance but those who like their cosmetics to be fragrance free might not like it.
To summarize, the Revlon Ultra HD lipstick in Marigold is a beautiful orange shade with glossy finish and a decent formula.
Pros of Revlon Marigold Ultra HD Lipstick:

Would I Repurchase Revlon Marigold Ultra HD Lipstick?
If you would like to try out a lovely orange shade which is slightly on the sheer side, I would definitely recommend this lipstick. I already have 2 other shades from this range and don’t think will repurchase.
