How To Use:

Trim along the natural nail line. Be careful not to cut below the nail bed.  Use file to smooth and shape rough edges and gently clean under nails. Achieve salon–quality results at home with the Emeryl File. Made with a unique material to quickly file nails and help prevent splitting. One side shapes, the other smoothes with a soft, easy–grip handle for comfort. Durable enough to last a lifetime yet gentle on nails.

  • Always begin with dry nails to help prevent peeling.
  • To help prevent splitting, file in one direction only.
  • Revlon lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects. Revlon will replace with same or similar tool at no charge if implement fails due to defect material or workmanship.

My Experience with Revlon Nail Essentials:

Revlon has certain reputation in the market and are associated with quality products. Hence, it was obvious I would choose it over others when it did come to buying my everyday nail essentials and it did not disappoint.  I love both these products. Firstly, because they are so compact in size and very lightweight. The clippers are sharp and durable and rust resistant. It is very well made and easy to use to maintain fingernails and toe nails. It even has a hidden compact nail file attached which is very handy when it comes to filing those rough corners after clipping.

The Emeryl nail file is also very lightweight and compact enough to fit in any purse. I love the pointed edge more than rounded edge because it helps cleaning dirt under the nail very effectively. Though its not that dangerously pointed, it can always be used as a self defense tool when in need.

Revlon Nail Essentials 6

It has 2 different edges, one is more abrasive than the other, one side is supposed to be for filing down and the other side for smoothing but can’t really tell much of the difference. I did notice it does get dull over time and does not file as well as it does when its new. That is disappointing . But it does last long enough to give you your money’s worth.

Pros of Revlon Nail Essentials:

  • Good quality.
  • Durable.
  • Excellent features like hidden nail file in clipper and pointed edge of the nail file.

Cons of Revlon Nail Essentials:

  • Nail file does wear out with time.
