Revlon Peacock ColorStay Shadow Links Review

Revlon Peacock ColorStay Shadow Links Review

Hola girlies!

I’m back with another Revlon Eye shadow Links, this time the colour being peacock blue! I bought this shade because I own a peacock blue eye pencil from Coloressence, which has been already reviewed on IMBB! So an eye shadow to complement with the eye liner would be good. Lets see how it fairs!

My Take on Revlon Peacock ColorStay Shadow Links:

Packaging: These eye shadow links come in a cute small plastic body. It’s so tiny and so cute! The front side is transparent, allowing you to locate the shadow quickly. The back side has all the details about the product. The size is tiny and is travel friendly. The sides of these eye shadows have slots, so you can link up other Revlon single links to make your own palatte! That’s something different and intresting! Overall, the packaging is cute, tiny, travel friendly, sturdy and linkable to other Revlon Single link shadows.

Colour/Pigmentation: The blue is a sky blue colour, not at all peacock blue! The pigmentation is buildable, which is good, because you can easily control how much colour you need to put on your eye lid for a particular look! So, yes, I like the buildability of this eye shadow, but for some it might be a con.

Texture: I like how smooth the texture is. The glitter is very finely milled to achieve the super smooth texture. There’s a bit of fallout in the packaging and also some when you apply.

Staying Power: This eye shadow demands the use of a good primer, without which it stays on only for 3 hours or so. A primer is a must! The only thing I did not like about this eye shadow is it’s staying power! :/
