If you saw my post on the carbon shade here, I ha mentioned I got the blue as well, so here it is and I am afraid I have mixed reaction for this one, I found the black one better, nevertheless take a look 🙂

The color is a bright blue, it is not a deep navy blue but those lighter blues, I dont really like them, they have an inky feel to them like they leave a trace of light blue behind or when they smudge, I dont really like that, also such blues dont do much for my skin tone or the eyes.

So like I said this is not the blue I like, the white is a blue white as well, it is unlike the one I reviewed yesterday, it is not softer as the former as well..the texture is average, and the blue one has to be used in small strokes in worry of tugging at the eyes.It is average pigmented so I need to go over with it twice for some like-able blue.

The white in the Carbon Cleopatra shade renders more and shows more in lesser strokes, this one needs to be swiped twice and still I think it does not show as well as the white one in the carbon shade.Overall it is functional but not that great.

Coming to the staying power, it stays for three hours here on oily lids, and then blue starts to make me look blue, it gets lighter and smudges a bit, and after three hours it transfers to the top of the lids a little, but on dry lids, it should last you 5 hours, the white in the waterline stays for barely an hour, so that is disappointing as well.

IMBB Rating:

3/5 I recommend the black shade, this one is not creamy or the kind of blue I like.

  5. I don’t like this colour either; the black one was much better. Moreover, the white’s not showing up well. That being said, it does look wonderful on you though. *jalwa* Love those lenses aswell. Could you do a post on the different coloured lenses you’ve got? Think about it! 🙂
