Revlon Powder Blush, a soft, natural flush of color. This Ultra-soft, silky powder blush adds a natural flush of color to your cheeks, provides a build-able flush of color with a soft satin finish, and enhances cheekbones instantly.
I have reviewed three more shades from this new collection from Revlon, Haute pink, Wine not and Classy coral. Recently I picked up this last shade too as this was a nude peachy brown with sheen finish, I could not resist picking it up plus the price is also not too bad. This blusher range is poorly pigmented, hard and chalky, but you can surely build them up.Plus I really liked the shades and the simple packaging. I have been using it for a while hence I am ready to tell you more on this blusher.Let us see:
The blush comes in a simple see-through pack, which I like. It has a tiny rectangular mirror inside and a brush which an be used but I do not use it much. The shade is such a pretty warm peachy brown with sheen, it really hit me when I got it. Once I swatched it, I knew this needs work to show up on the cheeks.
the color is really light beige, and it has this silver sheen.I could not see much shimmer in it but honestly it has some fine shimmer to it. On the cheeks it mainly translates into a subtle glow. I do not think it is very shiny or loud, every skin tone and type can try it.
The texture is poor, it is not at all soft, it can be called chalky. There is no softness or satin touch whatsoever. I was not disheartened as I had expected it, I was more interested in the color.
The finish is light glowy peachy beige,I was right about the color. It looks very nice warm very natural blusher on my fair to medium skin, I was super joyful when I saw how natural it looks.I had to build it up with a rough brush which would pick up more blusher or you could build it with at least three layers but the color is really nice for Indian skin tone, in fact all skin tones except very pink can wear it.
The sheen is not very stark but it will not help pores look at all.Dry skin will have trouble wearing it as hardly any color shows up. Oily skin will melt the color in no time, it lasted on me 3 hours without a base. Normal skin would have better results .
Overall apart from the color, there is nothing too good about this blush, but I will be wearing it a lot since I love subtle colors.
