A friend of mine gifted me this colour and oh my God!, I am so much in love with this lipstick already. It is the brightest of all pinks I have ever owned and it acts like a pin-up doll pink for me.
While researching, I found out that the Filipina makeup and beauty blog saying that this has been out since 1950. Guess, I own a little antique piece of a colour now, eh 🙂

My Take on Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick – Cherries in the Snow:
Coming from 1953, we can say this lipstick has stood the test of time. What a beautiful colour to have been carried forward for so many years. This is a hot raspberry colour with the patent packaging of black and gold from Revlon. It has the most creamiest formula I had ever thought a lipstick could have.
This shade is a perfect raspberry, deep pink red, not too pink and not too red, it has the right equilibrium between the two of the colors. It might look like bold at first, but it is actually quite wearable.
While reading about the lipstick, I saw that it comes in a choice of 72 colours, which is a whopping lot for such great formulation.
Pros of Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick – Cherries in the Snow:
- The lipstick is a beautiful shade of pink. Not too red, not too pink.
- The formulation is great. It is creamy and stays on for long.
- It stays on for over 2 hours.
- Can be a great night shade if dabbed on with some gloss.
- No need of any extra lip balm underneath this one.
- You can get a matching “Cherries in the Snow” nail polish too if you want to wear the exact same colour on your nails.
- Vintage shade 🙂
- It has a very convenient container.
- One of those true to colour lipsticks.
- Extensively pigmented.
- The colour is such that it will look great on all skin types.
Cons of Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick – Cherries in the Snow:
- I cannot think of any but the fact that Revlon is not a cruelty-free product, i.e., they test on animals.
