My Experience with Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick Show Stopper:
Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick Show Stopper comes housed in the classic Revlon packaging with a colored label that is so helpful for lipstick addicts like me. I love how they have catered to all shade lovers, from n*de brown to reds and even purple in this range. If you own all the shades from this range, you would not need any more lipsticks. It could go with every occasion and season. I would buy the shade “Audacious Mauve” next. Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick Show Stopper is a gorgeous lipstick for warm skin tones. Even though it might seem like cool pink base lipstick, on the lips, it translates into a glam red color.
The lipstick has intense pigmentation; just one coat and you are done. It is not a powder matte formula, so underlining it with a red lip liner is a good idea. It would last longer and smudge lesser. It is a cool red lipstick, since on the first swipe, you would notice a pink undertone to it. On me, it looks like a pure red lipstick.
This sort of a matte lipstick keeps lips hydrated, so even dry lips could give this a go. If you are a MAC matte lipstick lover, then this is not a powder matte lipstick for you. Personally, I have no complaints with this range.
It is a soft, creamy matte, intensely pigmented lipstick with average staying power, and has a classic Revlon feel to it.
