I picked up two new shades of Revlon super lustrous recently.HERE They have brought in new shades in India.I am a huge fan of Revlon lipsticks and this one surely is a winner for everyone who likes light lipsticks with a lip balm like feel but full color.

The lipstick is cool toned and has a lot of blue to it. This is named berry couture and has a colored sticker to it, how I love lipsticks with some kind of color coding…makes my life easier when I need to find a shade in a hurry in my huge lipstick stash.

The packaging is amazing, in fact it is the super lustrous packaging that attracts me most of the times. The combo of black and gold and the way it looks strdy and classy. Also, the finish is mentioned on the base, creme, pearl, shine or frost.Love everything about the super lustrous range.I have a lot of creme finishes from them.

Coming to the lipstick texture, it is a mild light sheer to medium buildable blue based purple.It is very bold in the tube but on the lips it looks like a plummy pink. the color has a nice soft shiny glistening finish. It is not very creamy but light and mild on the lips, it does not bleed and slightly leave a plum stain behind.

The lipstick makes lips look supple, dry lips will love the finish it has.The color is suited for anytime but only cooler and pinker skin tones can try this one. The shine finish is a delight to use for lip balm lovers, non-cakey lipstick lovers and college girls. In one swipe, it will go sheer but still give enough color to brighten face.

Coming to the sad part of this lipstick,it barely lasts shiny on me for an hours, later another hour I can see some subtle plum tone on the lips.I had had expected poor staying power when I bought it as this has a shiny finish and feels quite sheer.
