Hey angels
This is my very first post on IMBB. First of all, I would like to thank IMBB for being so helpful and benefiting us with the reviews of so many products. It has helped me become careful about buying new products.
I had tried Revlon Touch and Glow Moisturising Makeup Foundation, which I bought around 6 months back. I was advised to use a liquid foundation for a good finish, so I thought of trying this product. My experience with this product is actually very confusing and it is not exactly up to the mark. So, let us know find out out it fared.
Price:
INR 340 for 20ml bottle, if you buy online. It is also available for INR 250 in retail stores.
My Experience with Revlon Touch and Glow Moisturising Makeup Foundation:
I was advised to use a liquid foundation and was told about Revlon products, so I tried this foundation. This foundation has a very a bad consistency. It is so liquidy that when you take a little amount of it on your hand, it simply runs down like a waterfall. So, you need to be very careful, while applying. But, it blends well on the skin and is gets absorbed quickly.
It provides sheer to medium coverage and is not really a waterproof product, as it claims. If a foundation is not waterproof, it is very disappointing to use. If you have a lot of marks or scars on your skin, then please do not prefer this foundation, as it does not provide full coverage. It provides approximately medium coverage. My shade is natural mist.
I have hardly used this foundation for 5 to 6 times and I am seriously not happy with the product. It has an oil like fragrance, which is similar to jasmine oil and that is a big turn off for me. It does stay for around 3 to 4 hours, but it has no SPF at all and it is not waterproof. I am always looking for waterproof makeup because I sweat a lot.
It blends quickly on your skin and provides a good finish, which is a yay from my side and it also keeps your skin moisturized for long, which makes it good to use for people with dry skin. People with oily skin should definitely not try this product, according to my experience.
Pros of Revlon Touch and Glow Moisturising Makeup Foundation:
- Blends quicky.
- 4 pink and nude shades available for Indian skin tones.
- Provides a dewy finish.
- Moisturises really well.
- Super easy availability.
Cons of Revlon Touch and Glow Moisturising Makeup Foundation:
- Very poor consistency.
- Sheer to medium coverage.
- No SPF, not waterproof as well.
- Has an oil like fragrance.
IMBB Rating:
2.5 out of 5
Would I Recommend/ Repurchase Revlon Touch and Glow Moisturising Makeup Foundation?
You can give it a try. I guess, I would not be buying this product again because there are many more better liquid foundations available that do not smell like an oil.
