Revlon Volume + Length Magnified Mascara Review

After reviewing the newly-launched “Revlon Ultra Volume Mascara,” today, I am reviewing the “Revlon Volume + Length Magnified Mascara.” Read on to find out more.

My Experience with Revlon Volume + Length Magnified Mascara:

Packaging: This mascara comes in a sleek flat black matte tube with a bright blue cap. The tube is quite light and handy. The packaging is simple yet looks quite attractive.

Brush: Revlon describes the brush on this mascara as a lash magnifying brush. Personally, I did not find too much of a difference between this brush and the brush on the Ultra Volume Mascara. This brush also has both short as well as long bristles. It picks up a decent amount of the product and applies the mascara decently, but since it is a slightly bigger brush, it makes it difficult to reach the lashes closest to the inner side of the eye.

Formula/Performance:  The mascara does provide some volume and length to the lashes in a single swipe. Though nothing too dramatic, I like that it does manage to open up the eyes.  You can layer on the mascara if you like and there is no clumping. But I did notice that the lashes feel a bit stiff after the application and it gives an unnatural look.

 

The mascara is not waterproof and hence it does smear if it happens to come in contact with water or if you rub your eyes. The mascara stays put for around 4-5 hours. You do need a makeup remover to get rid of all the traces.

To summarize, this mascara does provide decent volume and length to the lashes but nothing that to blow your mind away.

Pros of Revlon Volume + Length Magnified Mascara:

• Nicely pigmented.
• Provides decent volume and length to the lashes.
• Decent brush which applies well.
•  Good formula with no clumping.

Cons of Revlon Volume + Length Magnified Mascara:

• Lashes feel slightly stiff.
• Not waterproof.
• Bigger brush makes it difficult to reach inner lashes.

Would I Repurchase Revlon Volume + Length Magnified Mascara?
I would not recommend as it is not a must-have. I will not repurchase this either.
