My Experience with Revolution Renaissance Lipstick Luxe:

The lipstick comes in a pretty rose gold metallic finish tube. The tube is small and sleek. It fits into my clutch easily. The tube does not contain much information about the product. The shade name is written on a color-coded label at the base of the lipstick tube. The packaging is opaque and not color coded, so it is difficult to spot the shade from makeup stash. The lipstick cap shuts very securely making a click sound and ensures that the packaging is purse friendly. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.

“Luxe” is a beautiful, warm-toned chocolate brown shade. This shade is a rich brown color for the fall. This shade will go well with most Indian skin tones. It will serve as a pretty n*de for deeper complexions. It can be easily worn on an everyday basis. The shade is not too bold. The color looks lovely on the lips. The lipstick does not contain any shimmer or chunky glitter and sets to a healthy-looking crème finish. The lipstick is not super glossy. The color payoff of the lipstick is amazing. It gives opaque coverage in a single swipe and helps to hide pigmented lips well.

The texture is soft and smooth and that’s why it glides on the lips like a dream without causing any tug or pull. It never clings to dry patches of the lips. It gives a nice plumped-up effect to the lips. The creamy formula is very nourishing and prevents my lips from drying.

The formula is neither too lightweight nor really heavy on the lips. It feels quite comfortable on the lips. There is no stickiness in the formula and it does not feel like sitting on the lips. The lipstick is moisturizing in nature. It does not have creasing issues. It does not settle into the fine lines of my lips. But, since it has crème formula, the lipstick has the tendency to transfer a lot.

The lasting power is of the lipstick is around 5-6 hours on my lips. The color fades away after a meal leaving sheer color on the lips. The formula is non-staining and the lipstick can be easily taken off using a good makeup remover.
