RGB 002 Oxblood Nail Color Review

Hi all,

I was offline for a couple days as my kid got hurt at her school and she’s still recovering. I am keeping her at home so that she doesn’t make it worse.

Today, I would be reviewing a very dark ‘vampy’ shade of nail polish called RGB 002 Oxblood Nail Color. I have a few polishes that I adore and this is one which never fails to impress on any occasion.

My Experience with RGB 002 Oxblood Nail Color:

The polish comes in a white outer cardboard box with the initials and other product details. The nail polish bottle is square glass bottle with a twist open cap as all regular polishes have. The brush is more on the sleek side, but it’s not thin by any means nor super thick as the OPI ones.

I have nail polishes from quite a few textures as glitter, crème, shimmer etc and this falls into the crème category. This was my first RGB nail polish and I have heard people raving about it so I wanted to try it.

This nail polish brand is 5 free and that means it does not contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, Formaldehyde Resin, or Camphor and its cruelty free as well. The most prominent thing that I notice on the first glance is the thinner texture compared to other nail polish as OPI, China Glaze or others, but I came to know from a beauty salon that one of those nail polishes that have reduced the 5 cariogenic chemicals tend to be on the thinner side, but that doesn’t compromise on the quality of the product in any way.

RGB Oxblood Nail Color Review

This particular shade oxblood is a deep reddish burgundy with very dark undertones and looks amazing on any skin color. The first coat looks a bit patchy to me, but the second coat makes it flawless and it has an impressive drying time; which is super-fast 😀

There is no distinct smell in the product. It has lesser chemicals as compared to other nail paints and hence, makes it top my list of nail lacquer. But, it’s pretty expensive at $18. It lasted on me for five days without chipping and on the sixth day, it chipped on the tips but still looked quite presentable.
