Richfeel Heena Review

Hello All You Beauties!

I am back with a product that I use as a hair and scalp mask and have been loving it. Henna is my favourite hair care product. I know a lot of people think it unwise to use henna on the tresses for a bunch of different reasons, but it works for me and really well at that. I was unaware of this brand till very recently and when I saw this on a online shopping site , I was very keen on trying it. So, do read on to know how I liked Richfeel Henna.

My Experience with Richfeel Heena:

It’s a light green powder just as henna powders are with the characteristic tangy smell of henna powders. Although a lot of herbs and other stuff are present, the powder is pretty fine. I always add either eggs or curd to the paste that I make, because if I don’t do that, my hair tends to get frizzy.  One thing I noticed about this particular brand of henna is that the paste gets a bit lumpy if not mixed vigorously. If applied in that state, it does not make for an even application. I apply this mask both on my hair as well as scalp.

It has a cooling effect on the scalp. I leave it on for about an hour before shampooing it off, followed by generous amount of conditioner. Washing it off is pretty easy as the powder is very fine. On drying, my hair felt smooth and soft, not to mention shiny; no frizz at all. I apply it every Sunday and it has eased up my wavy hair making them a tad straighter. One thing, though, it does not really affect the natural colour of your hair unless it is white. So, if you are looking for that reddish hue that henna generally leaves on hair, you will be disappointed, but if you want a nice mask for your hair, you could definitely use this as one. I don’t know how it would affect dry hair, but I have wavy hair which gets frizzy in monsoons but an oily scalp and I love its effects on my hair. This is perhaps, the best henna I have used and might I add I have used a number of them 🙂

  2. yesterday in beauty shop I saw the packet and instantly like that. this Mehndi wash off easily and to reduce the pungent smell I washed my hair with dove shampoo later. its true it doesn’t give your a very hard copper color but I really like my hair now with bit of copper in shade. its so bouncy and shiny silky smooth.
