Hope you are doing great. My weekend just passed out with a blink. 😛 Guests, and kids and all that familia jazz. Anyhow, today I am reviewing the Rimmel Glam Eyes HD Eyeshadow in 005 English Rose for you all.

Rimmel Glam Eyes HD Eyeshadows retail at 40- 45 AED , and these are available at all Rimmel counters. The quartet has 2.5 g of the product.

Packaging :
Rimmel Glam Eyes HD Eyeshadow comes in a simple plastic quartet, with shadows embedded in the “UNION JACK” pattern. PRETTY!! It comes with a dual ended sponge applicator.

My Thoughts on the Rimmel Glam Eyes HD Eyeshadow in 005 English Rose :

I generally prefer mono eyeshadows, I do not go for quartets or palettes usually. I prefer single shades, unique shades, and useable shades. I am also not a hoarder of frost, shimmer, and pearl finish shadows or makeup in general.  But there are exceptions and temptations. And the Rimmel Glam Eyes HD Eyeshadow in 005 English Rose is one such gorgeous exception. It has some gorgeous shades which can easily weaken you in the knees. It has a pretty peach-taupe shimmery shadow, a roasted brown shade, a frosty brownish taupe, and a peachy brown. It is a complete neutral palette, which can be played around both for formal as well as casual wear. Here are the swatches and pictures ,

What’s to LOVE about Rimmel Glam Eyes HD Eyeshadow in 005 English Rose :

• Price , Rimmel prices all its products quiet affordably without compromising on its quality. This quartet also has a decent pricing.
• Packaging. Packaged gorgeously. I mean, the pattern in which the eyeshadows are embedded is creative, without doubts. UNION JACK in an eyeshadow quartet, CREATIVE!!
• Super soft texture, almost buttery/creamy.
• Blend like a dream.
• Absolutely NO fallout.
• The pigmentation is fab!! As in the swatches above are without any base! With base they are even more deeper.
• The colors have satin finishes. And none of them look OTT, you can easily wear them at the day time as well as at evening times.
• It is a very wise complete palette, like it has a nice crease color, a gorgeous lid shade, a perfect highlighter and also a nice blending shade.
• The staying power is great, of course with a base. Say 6 hours without touchups. (Who wears eye makeup without base anyways?)
• These do not crease. (Again, who doesn’t primer or have a base on their lids ?)
• You save a lot of room in your handbag by carrying just one quartet, like you are sorted for the day kinds.  So, HANDY!!
• The applicator is tapering kinds, which enables easy touchups and also simplify applying the shadows in the inner corners of the eyes, crease and also blending. 

What’s to HATE about Rimmel Glam Eyes HD Eyeshadow in 005 English Rose :

• People who like matte finishes, will obviously not like these. Hence no choices for the matte texture lovers.
• The quartet may mess up if you do not use it carefully.

Final Verdict :
Basically, a must have for all the pearl and satin finish lovers.  I have fun using them myself too.  I find them affordable and efficient. So, I would definitely recommend it to everyone, but I would love Rimmel, if they had the same quartet with the same shades, but matte. Imagining it to be my perfect everyday neutral eyeshadow palette !! 
