Hope you all are doing good! Today, I am reviewing a lipstick from the Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte range. The shade number is 104. Unfortunately, there is no shade name.

My Experience with Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick  – 104:

Packaging:

The lipstick comes in a red and black tube. The packaging is really attractive with a sleek matte finish. The cap is embossed with Rimmel’s logo and has Kate’s signature printed on it. The cap fits snugly enough to carry it in your bag without worrying.  The shade number is printed on a sticker at the bottom of the tube, the color of the sticker being the same as the lipstick color.

Color:

A beautiful warm medium rose with mauve undertones. This is a color that would good look on all skin tones. It is a really pretty shade for every day use. This shade is supposed to be a dupe for MAC Mehr.

Pigmentation:

The pigmentation is excellent. One swipe results in an opaque color. I was expecting it to be less pigmented being a medium rose shade, but I was really happy with the color pay off.

Fragrance:

The lipstick smells like a rose. I just love the smell! The scent is not overwhelming but rather, a mild and pleasant fragrance.

Texture and Finish:

Since this is a matte lipstick, I was expecting it to be a bit dry, but I was quite surprised to find that the texture of this lipstick is actually very creamy! It glides easily on the lips and feels slick when you press your lips together.  This lipstick is actually not a true matte; rather it has a semi-matte finish. It does not look cakey or heavy if you apply more than one layer, but you can see a slight sheen. It does not dry out the lips, but is not very moisturizing either. I find it best to prime your lips first before applying this lipstick to get the best finish.

Longevity:

I am quite happy with the lasting power of this lipstick. It lasts for at least4 hours without fading. It does not disappear after a snack or drink, just fades slightly. I find that there is no uneven fading. It also does not bleed or feather.
