It has been so long since I have written a review. I had mentioned in my review of Maybelline master drama kohl liner that my friend got me some makeup stuff from abroad and here is the 2nd product from that parcel. It is Rimmel London 1000 kisses lip tint+balm in timeless tango. Let’s see how it fared.

It’s just like a broad tip marker pen. It looks super stylish with tint at one end and a clear lip balm at the other end.

My experience with Rimmel London 1000 Kisses Lip Tint+Balm – Timeless Tango:

I don’t know why but when I saw this tint, I thought that it will give me the lips you get after eating a bucket full of strawberries or raspberries. Luscious lips which look oh so natural and thus began the journey of vivid imagination and brutal downfall. This lip tint is a cute looking marker pen and the tint is a pretty berry colored pink. The balm at the other end is a clear balm. The tube says that first apply the tint and when it dries, apply the balm for that shine and long lasting color. Firstly, this isn’t long lasting. It stays for like 1.5 hours. Secondly, the balm doesn’t help in any way. It’s like Vaseline in a stick form only that Vaseline does a far better job. It makes your lips look like parched paper which has been dried out it the sun. The pigmentation is good no doubt but only for a swatch. On the lips it remains only for a couple of hours and till then you are like dying for some moisturization on your lips. If you can handle such a bright colour and can moisturize and exfoliate your lips before applying this you can sure try this. I mean it is not a bad product per se, it’s just too drying for me..:(
