Today’s review is again a lip product by Rimmel London. After seeing good reviews about the product, I decided to try this long wearing line. I am really obsessed with long wearing lip colors. Lets find out more about it!

My Experience with Rimmel London 106 Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick:

I picked this magenta pink color which complements my skin tone very well. Now a days, I am more into pinks! The consistency and pigmentation of the lipstick is amazing as one stroke is enough to give the true color on the lips. When applied, it has a slight sheen to it, but when it dries it is completely matte. It does not have sticky or tacky feeling to it, but very comfortable to wear. It does dry out the lips, so proper moisturization of lips is required before putting on the lip color.

Packaging:
The Lasting Finish by Kate Moss range comes in a black and red packaging. The black one has the glossy finish to it whereas the red one is matte. It has twist up bullet as regular lipstick and the entire body is made up of plastic. The shade code is mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick; the shades have no name, though.

Texture:
This range is extremely smooth to apply and glides like butter. When first applied, it has a sheen to it, but after a couple of minutes, it dries to matte. It has very light watermelon scent to it which vanishes after application.

Pigmentation:
The pigmentation is also its biggest USP. Just one swipe gives intense color, no need of rubbing it on the lips.

Longevity:
Rimmel claims the lip color to be high intensity color that stays upto 8 hours. It do not stand up to that claim for me. It remains on my lips for around 4 hours before having any meal. And, after having meal it vanishes which is quite surprising for me. It does bleed out of my lips, but it doesn’t accentuate lines on my lips. It transfers like crazy and without having meals and drinks it will stay whole day, but if you are eating something, please don’t expect the lasting part with this lipstick, really!

Would I Repurchase or recommend Rimmel London 106 Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Lipstick?
Never! I love long lasting formulas which survive meals. The ladies who are concern more about the pigmentation and texture can give it a try, but only if they don’t mind constant touch ups!

Tip: Make sure you exfoliate your lips properly before applying it and also outline the lips with a lip liner or it might bleed.
