The most difficult part for me in makeup is using an Eyeliner. I try to make it dramatic and end up making it messy. Ah, the story of my life! So, in the verge of making my life easier, I always hunt for new and easy to use eyeliners and I decided to try one of the Color Precise eyeliners from Rimmel London. Read on to see whether it is a hit or a miss.

My Experience with Rimmel London 24 HR Color Precise Eyeliner – Black:
Eyeliner must be one of the most craved products out there. Luckily for beauty junkies like us, who keep on trying to get hold of the best, brands keep on coming up with updated products and so does Rimmel London. This brand recently came out with its new 24 hr Colour Precise Eyeliner. This particular liner comes in three shades Black, White and Blue.
Packaging: This felt tip eyeliner comes packaged in a black sleek tube. The tip is rather precise and pointed to give a nice and precise application. The one major disadvantage is that the cap does not fit properly. There is no clicking sound when I close it. So, there is a chance of it to come off and might make things messy. It happened to me, the cap didn’t close properly and I ended up getting black marks on my shirt.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation of this liner is pretty good, it is black but not jet black and the color payoff is average. The finish of this eyeliner is not matte, not extremely shiny either, so it is in between glossy and matte finish.
Application: As this product is specially designed with a felt tip for precise application, I excepted a beautiful and finer application. But, this was a total downfall. When I used the tip to draw the line, there was absolutely no color payoff. I tried drawing a line on my lid and couldn’t find any color on my lid. When I smudged the tip a bit, I could see some color. I tried the fine tip again after shaking the eyeliner many times and at last I could see some color, but it was not the best. So basically, the precise eyeliner application part doesn’t work well as expected.
Lasting Power: It is claimed as a 24 hr liner, but that’s not true. It just stayed for 3 to 4 hours after which it started to fade and smudge. So, if you have oily eyelids, then this product will be a nightmare. The next biggest claim of Rimmel is that it is sweat proof and waterproof but that claim is also ruled out as it budges easily. Hence, it is not suitable for summers.
Thus, this product looks bright on the first application but, unfortunately, it stays tacky and is less impressive. The precise application of this liner is really a nightmare and I would say, at this price point, it is better to skip this one altogether.

No to both, this is a huge miss. There are many good eyeliners in the market for this price.
