I believe there are six shades available,on second thoughts – I needed a shade darker than this 303 one. MAC 30-35 could wear this true nude. This shade has little pink tones to it, I wish I got a little yellow-toned shade, but wait a minute, there weren’t many yellow toned shades!

The foundation comes in a huge glass bottle, it feels heavy and thick. I do not think anyone would like to travel with it. The pump style dispenser is amazing, I quite like the orange touch to it, very peppy.

The texture of the foundation is very very thick, I like Rimmel match perfection foundation quite a lot, but I am not fond of thick foundations at all. The color is a tad bit lighter for me, but I still have tried it on a lot of times. The foundation needs a while to blend in. I tried it with beauty blender and with a flat foundation brush, I honestly think fingers do the best blending for this. It blends well and what I love about this is that it instantly fills pores and literally blurs the pores.

The foundation feels slightly sticky. Despite being thick, I find it only medium coverage, you could layer it on but then it would get really cakey. I find this has very very fine shimmer to it, which aids in the “wake me up” feel to make skin luminous.

The foundation has a semi matte finish, slightly luminous. Honestly, I could see my natural skin oils seeping through, in just an hour. I tried not to powder it and test it out. In two hours, face looked luminous/shiny. In 4-5 without any powder, the foundation looked patchy and messy. So this foundation safely needs a setting powder, I have combination skin. In 4 hours, I was not happy with the way it was melting away.

For dry skin, this might get cakey easily, try using very little, over a moisturizer. For oily skin, powder setting is a must. Coverage is medium to high, so troublesome skin could try it too. It looks like a thick mask on me sometimes, I try to use it only on places I need coverage and blend with fingers. I do not think it photographs well, owing to the properties I mentioned above.

The best part is that it does not oxidise at all and blurs pores very well.It melts in 4-5 hours in UK weather, so I am not very impressed with this foundation. I could not see any anti-fatigue or waking up properties, except this is thick enough to camouflage much.

  1. I was expecting it to be a great one by the looks of it but after reading the review I guess I’ll skip it because I have oily skin and this one seems to be a high maintenance product. Now the only thing I like about it is the orange cap :p Nevertheless, loved reading your review 🙂

  2. A pore blurring foundation sounds so good! Unfortunately, it does not work for oily skin. 🙁 Loved the review, Neha! 🙂
