I am back with some more lipstick reviews and this time, it’s from the Rimmel London Moisture Renew range. This range has been around for quite some time and many shades from this range have been already reviewed on IMBB. Read on to find out more about the shade – Back to Fuchsia.

My Experience with Rimmel London Back To Fuchsia Moisture Renew Lipstick:

Packaging:  This lipstick comes in a silver-colored bullet with a bright violet semi-transparent cap. The cap has the Rimmel logo engraved on it. The name of the lipstick appears on a sticker on the bottom. The cap shuts tight and you can easily travel with the lipstick in your bag.

 

Shade/Pigmentation:  “Back to Fuchsia” is a bright blue-toned fuchsia shade. It adds an instant pop of color to your face and since it is so bright, many of you might shy away from it, but I personally loved the shade and feel it is a good option for parties and weddings.

 

The lipstick is strongly pigmented and covers the lips in a single swipe. I noticed slight clumping when layered and hence would not recommend layering.

Texture/Finish/Lasting Power:  The lipstick is very creamy and glides quite smoothly on the lips. There is no tug at all and it feels quite moisturizing on the lips. However, since it is so creamy, it also smears easily. I would totally recommend using a lip liner.

I also feel that this lipstick will not be able to stand the Indian summers and will melt away unless you store it in a refrigerator.  The lipstick has a lovely glossy finish and it tends to make the lips appear slightly plumper.

The lipstick transfers a lot and the staying power is quite poor. It lasts for a maximum of around 3-4 hours and disappears after a meal.

Pros of Rimmel London Back To Fuchsia Moisture Renew Lipstick:

• Bright magenta shade.
• Glides smoothly on the lips.
• Decently pigmented.
• Does not feel drying on the lips.
• Lovely glossy finish makes the lips look plumper.

Cons of Rimmel London Back To Fuchsia Moisture Renew Lipstick:

• Poor staying power.
• Transfers and smears.
• Clumping is noticed if layered.
• Not all will like the bright shade.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Rimmel London Back To Fuchsia Moisture Renew Lipstick?
I would not recommend the lipstick as the staying power is quite low. I will not repurchase.
