My Experience with Rimmel London Eyeshadow Paint – Slate Grey 002:

The eye shadow paint comes in a see-through tube with a black cap and lip gloss like applicator. The body has all detailed information regarding the product. Ingredients and date have been mentioned on the body as well. The applicator is functional and sturdy. You can pretty much go away using just the applicator. A brush is needed though to blend the edges; fingertips work just as fine.

The texture of the shadow paint is very smooth and creamy. It glides so well on the lids without tugging or pulling the lids that I tend to overdo at times. It has beautiful shimmers that give just the required glow to the shade without looking tacky or cheap.

Slate Grey is a muted dirty grey with very subtle silver shimmers. As much as I love smokey eyes, most of the times I avoid doing it due to the blending pain. But with this shade it barely takes 2 minutes to apply and quickly blend with my pinky. Quickest grey smoky eyes are ready! The shade might seem a bit too much in the swatch, but on the eyes it is pure love.

The staying power is worth a mention as well since I have worn it for a whole day and it stayed just like that. I do not touch my eyes often, but even then it would not budge as it does not move a bit after settling down. Thankfully, the shimmers do not travel all over the face on wearing for a long time. So, full marks on that aspect as well!
