Today, I am going to review Rimmel London’s Match Perfect foundation. My friend gifted me this from her trip to London,may she have many more trips like that! I love her even more now hihi. So let’s get started on how the foundation fared.

Claims by the company:
Traceless coverage foundation with Advanced Smart-tone Technology for perfectly flawless skin under any light. Enhanced with Sapphire Radiance for an illuminating glow. Last all day.

Price:
It costs around 7-9 £ for 30 ml, though prices can vary from store to store.

Packaging:
It is a glass-bottled with a press-pump for dispensing the product, so be careful for the first few times, because you don’t want pump out extra product. The plastic cap is embossed with the company logo.There are altogether 11 shades available, the one I am reviewing is classic beige (201) shade.

My experience with Rimmel London Match Perfection Light Perfecting Radiance Foundation:

I love it! It is true to all its claims, with just a tiny hiccup that it can be a bit dry for people with dry-skin. But I think it’s perfectly fine for the summers; maybe not so much for the winters, but it works great for the summers. I have combination to oily skin during the summers, so I can directly apply the foundation, without any moisturizer. For people with dry skin, a little moisturizer will do the job.

The coverage is amazing; a little amount is all you need. It is not very thick or gel-based. The consistency is a bit semi-liquid. It does not feel heavy or dense on the skin like so many other foundations. It’s light and feels like your second skin. It is not very sheen-like or shiny in finish, it has a matte effect and also I do not need any need any powder over it; it sufficiently covers all the spots. It adds a bright glow to your face and in a little while, after application it blends and settles in very well. Actually it perfectly looks like your skin, is totally true on this claim. It stays put for around 4-5 hours easily when you spend most of the day out, and last longer when indoors. Also it has SPF 18, so it’s perfect for wearing for your summer outings. Overall, I love the product!

What I like about Rimmel London Match Perfection Light Perfecting Radiance Foundation:

• It gives a superb coverage.
• It is very light on skin, like your second skin.
• It blends in perfectly and gives an instant glow.
• The product is not gel-based or dense like other foundations.
• Perfect for the summers.
• Gives a matte-effect instead of shiny dewy look.
• It has SPF18, so perfect for wearing on a day out.
• A pump, so no need to dip your fingers in the bottle every time.
• Stays around for 5-6 hours minimum.

What I don’t like about Rimmel London Match Perfection Light Perfecting Radiance Foundation:

• Well, not a con for me, but for people with dry skin, it can be a bit drying. Although I think a little bit of moisturizer can solve that problem.
• Ingredients not mentioned.
