Skin type: oily and sensitive

I am in love with the ‘baking’ technique these days, hence a good loose powder is my necessity. I had been searching for a new one when I came across this Rimmel London Match Perfection Silky Loose Powder. Keep reading to know more about it.
Price: INR 640 for 10g
My Experience with Rimmel London Match Perfection Silky Loose Powder:
The powder comes in a normal round jar container with a blue cap. Inside the jar, there is a plastic tray sifter that provides the right amount of the product. Also, there is a round applicator puff with a holder. I like this super soft gentle puff. This is not useless like other powder puffs as you can easily use it to apply and blend the powder. I think the product is aptly priced because you get 10 grams of product for INR 640.
It’s a transparent powder that suits all skin tones. The powder has a light beige shade and it matches my skin tone nicely. It provides a light coverage that is nice for daily use. It has a super fine and smooth texture, and the powder is finely milled so that it feels soft and smooth on the skin. It blends into the skin easily and my skin feels so silky and smooth. It never feels chalky or powdery. It never feels dry or patchy on my skin either. Also, one more great thing, layering does not make the powder cakey or heavy. Owing to its silky soft and matte finish, it does not leave any whitish cast on the skin.
It looks so natural on the skin – just like my second skin. I think it will suit all skin types. It has a medicated smell in it, which I don’t like that much. I mostly prefer to apply this powder to set my concealer and T-zone, and also to bake my face. It perfectly sets my under eye area and helps to prevent creasing of the concealer. It adds a nice finishing touch to my makeup. It brightens up my face nicely and works pretty well to bake my makeup.
I, at times, use it on my bare face and still my skin looks bright and fresh. It controls oil for around 4 hours and after that, my T-zone starts to get oily and I need to set it again. It can’t control sweat as such. It is working well at the moment as the weather is not very hot right now, but it might not work well during summers. The powder and the glow stay decently on my super oily face. This powder keeps my skin bright for around 6 hours, but its 8-hour claim is not true.
This powder never creases and settles into the fine lines. It keeps my skin fresh and smooth for long. Overall, I absolutely love that soft and natural finish, and the powder feels so light. I really like the way it brightens up my skin and provides that pro finish. It is a good powder for daily use. It doesn’t control oil much yet I really think it is worth a try.
