Hello Everyone,

Product Description:

Mix and match those hues and shades! The Rimmel Colour Rush Quad Eyeshadow range comes in palettes of four complimentary colors to create a complete look for your eyes! The pigment is rich and provides intense color reveal. This eyeshadow uses a soft and silky formula which provides ultimate blendability and super coverage. Stays on for longer and is crease resistant. So go ahead and create your look according to your mood–ranging from smoky and smouldering to elegant and chic!

My Experience with Rimmel London State of Grace Glam’eyes Quad Eye Shadow:-

The packaging is simple and slightly flimsy to begin with. The transparent flip covers shuts with a click. Details about the shade is mentioned at the back with some guidelines on the color positioning. It comes with a dual ended sponge applicator which is of no use; not even for touch-ups. The 4 shades are color co-ordinated which is good for beginners. There is no mirror which is not a huge con, but again there is room for improvement.

The texture of the shades in general is smooth and not very powdery like most eye shadows. The lightest shadow has a little less pigmentation compared to the rest of the shades. But since I use hat for the brow bone and inner corners, it is not much of a glitch. The rest of the shades are pretty pigmented, the best of the 4 is the violet. There is minimum fallout, so dabbing some loose powder on the cheek bone is always a good idea.

The pigmentation is medium to buildable. With a base the colors show up better. In the EOTD I have not applied any base, show how the colors apply without any primer. The violet shade has a bit of more fall-out compared to the other shades. I think this is not a must have, but a good option for those who are starting up with eye makeup. Being affordable, it can be used for practice and with 4 shades, various combinations can be made.

The staying power ranges from 3-4 hours without base and maximum 6 hours with a primer. The good thing is the fading is gradual and not patchy. Also, it does not accumulate on the lid which is a makeup crime in my opinion.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Rimmel London State of Grace Glam’eyes Quad Eye Shadow?
I would not repurchase because I will not be able to finish this up. I might pick up other shades from the same range though. I would recommend this only to the beginners, for the experts, it might not be the best pick.
