Wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year. Recently, I and Chayanti shopped for some makeup products from an international site. We had to shell out extra for the shipping and customs, but new products definitely give us a high (and that joy is incomparable). Today’s review will be about Rimmel London Super Curler 24 Hr Mascara, which has got mixed reviews by a number of beauty bloggers, but it’s the most famous curling mascara from Rimmel London.

My Experience with Rimmel London Supercurler 24HR Volume and Curl Mascara:

Packaging: It comes in a glossy chubby tube which is purple in color. I like the fact that despite being on the bulkier side, it doesn’t feel heavy. So you can securely close it and travel with it. All product details are written in pretty golden fonts. Overall, it is attractive, lightweight and travel friendly.

This mascara by Rimmel is their best-selling curling mascara (I doubt if they have any other curling mascara). Anyway,let’s see how it works.

Since the texture of the mascara plays a major role in how it works, let’s talk about it first. The texture is dry. Mostly, I have used creamy mascaras, the ones with wet formula – this one is a tad bit different. Since it is dry in texture, it doesn’t take time to dry. For wet mascara, you need to be careful while applying, otherwise you might ruin your makeup, creating a mess.

The color is matte black, not jet black or very intense, but looks quite nice. I have moderately long, black lashes, which look beautiful with this on. The wand is a flexible curling one, slightly big although. I haven’t faced any difficulties with the flexible wand. It coats my lashes, including my inner tiny lashes. The lashes don’t droop, neither do they turn crisp and hard.

So, I get beautifully curled lashes, which make my eyes look wide open and awake. The color is naturally black and looks very pretty. The curl holds well and stays for around 5-6 hours, but not 24 hours by any means. Since I am not an “eye curler” person, this works well in giving voluminous, curled lashes.

The volume is not very dramatic, but very party appropriate for people like me. Even with multiple coats, my lashes don’t feel heavy or clumped. I really love using this mascara as it gives perfectly separated, curled and voluminous lashes.
