My Take on Rimmel London Volume Flash The Max Bold Curves Mascara:

The packaging is not the standard black colored tube. Its a bright green-colored packaging.  I bought this mascara for its claims of adding volume and curves to the lashes. It did add volume and gave beautiful curve to my lashes. I had to only coat twice for full volume and curve. I do not use an eye lash curler, but this mascara added nice curves to my lashes and gave a full jet black color.  Check out the picture without the mascara and the one with mascara on.

The wand is comfortable enough to use and there is a slight bend on one side of the wand, which makes the curving and coating easy.  I have used the Maybelline Colossal Mascara and always felt heavy and used to end up with a headache, but this one was feather light. I did not feel I had a coat of mascara on my lashes and throughout the day, I felt comfortable. The staying power is not very impressive. It stays for roughly 4-5 hours and slowly fades off and this one is not waterproof. So, removal is easy and quick. The texture of the mascara is nicely creamy.  So, it takes at least a minute to dry completely.

I have pretty thick lashes, but this gives the extra volume and length and nice curves without the need for a curler. This can be used as a regular day wear mascara.

• Adds volume and curves to lashes with just two coats.
• Does not sting or makes your lashes feel heavy.
• Easy to remove without much effort.
• Apt for a regular day wear.

Cons of Rimmel London Volume Flash The Max Bold Curves Mascara:

• Staying power of 4-5 hours.
• Takes time to dry when coated.
• Not water proof.

Do I Recommend Rimmel London Volume Flash The Max Bold Curves Mascara?

Not really.  If you are okay with a non waterproof and low staying power mascara, then you may gives this a try.  What has impressed me is the volume boost, curved lashes and light feel.  I may not purchase this again. My hunt for non-heavy, volume addition mascara will continue.

I have read somewhere that a mascara should not be used for more than 6 months. Is it true.? Please suggest.
