My Experience of Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick – Coral Garden:
Rimmel introduced a new selection of shades as part of their “Dazzling Duchess” collection last year. “Coral Garden” is one of these beautiful new shades.
The lipstick comes in a silver tube with a translucent vibrant purple cap. The cap is embossed with Rimmel’s logo and fits tightly enough to carry it in your bag without worrying. The shade name and number are printed on a color coordinated sticker at the bottom of the tube.
“Coral Garden” is a beautiful medium coral shade. Many a times, coral lipsticks become a bit hard to wear for work or in a formal environment, owing to the brightness of the color. This coral is a perfect solution for that! It is bright enough to brighten up your face, but is also subdued enough that you can wear it for work too! The color would suit all skin tones well.
The color pay-off of this lipstick is quite amazing! One swipe is enough to provide an opaque cover.
The lipstick has an odd scent. I have never encountered this scent before! It is an artificial sweet scent. I don’t mind it, but some people may not like it. In any case, the scent disappears a while after application. So it is not so bad!
Texture and Finish:
This lipstick has a very creamy and smooth texture. It glides easily on the lips and feels quite comfortable. The finish is slightly glossy, but I expected this lipstick to be more moisturizing, since that is the main claim here! it contains Vitamin A,C and E. While it does not feel drying on the lips, it also does not add any moisture to the lips.
Lasts for over 4 hours, after which it fades slightly. Because it is so creamy, it transfers a bit.
Pros of Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick – Coral Garden:
- Beautiful medium coral shade which would suit all skin tones.
- Excellent pigmentation.
- Creamy and applies well.
- Lightweight and comfortable.
- Travel-friendly packaging.
- Decent lasting power.
Cons of Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick – Coral Garden:
- Does not moisturize the lips, as per its claim.
- The odd scent may be a turn-off for some.
Would I Recommend Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick – Coral Garden?
