Hi Everyone! How are you all? Today I am back with the review of a lipstick from a brand, we all are lately loving – Rimmel. The shade Latino is from the moisture renew line, which contains SPF 18. When I saw SPF in the lipstick, I got attracted to it and picked one. Let’s see how it fared.

My Experience with Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick – Latino
Packaging – The lip color comes housed in a purple rectangular tube with a silver band in the middle. The cap has the embossing of the brand Rimmel. The shade name and code is mentioned at the bottom of the tube. Looks wise, it is very classy. The cap locks nicely and the packaging is sturdy to be taken around in the purse. One thing, I would appreciate is that, they have mentioned the active ingredients on the label in the base of the cap along with the shade code and name. This might be helpful for people to avoid if they are allergic to these ingredients.
Color – Talking about the color, it is a tricky one. It is a combination of pink and peach/orange. On the lips in looks pinkier, but in the pictures it is more on peach side. This color has a frosty finish. I am not a fan of frosty lipsticks, but this one somehow looks good even with a frost finish . I always feel the frost lipstick makes me look one or two shades darker.
Texture – Coming to the texture, as mentioned it is very moisturizing and feels very light on the lips. But the problem is that it feathers due to extra creaminess if applied more. It also has a very strong fragrance which I am not at all fond of. This is the reason for avoiding this color most of the times. Pigmentation is decent for this color. It covers the lips well in 2 swipes.
Longevity – On me it lasts for around 3 hours without heavy meals. It does not stain the lips which might be a plus point for many.
Pros of Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick – Latino
1) Contains SPF18
2) Nice packaging
4) Unique color
6) Although creamy, it doesn’t melt in the humid climate
Cons of Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick – Latino
1) Strong fragrance
2) Bleeds on the lips
3) Not very long lasting
Would you repurchase Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick – Latino?
No. I will stick to the Kate Moss and other lines of lippies when it comes to Rimmel, specially due to the fragrance.
IMBB Rating – 3/5
Conclusion – This line of colors has sheer colors as compared to Kate Moss ones. You might check out the colors if you like the sheer color (though this one was decently pigmented). I would say please check the smell and if you are ok, pick one up.
