Rimmel Scandal Eyes Show Off Mascara

Hi all.

It’s been so long that I wrote for IMBB and I missed it so so much, but I just didn’t have the time. I just couldn’t stay away anymore and so I’m back.Today I am going to review a product which made me fall in love with mascaras! So far I was just a kajal and liner girl, I wouldn’t ever dare to leave my house without a kajal, and now this mascara is all I use on my eyes!

My take on Rimmel Scandal eyes Show Off Mascara:

This mascara comes packed in a fuchsia pink tube, the packaging is very similar to Colossal’s. The bristles on the brush make this mascara a class apart from the rest!! On the lower half the bristles are a bit separated from each other(which helps in separating my lashes and lengthening them a bit) and towards the tip they are packed more densely. The brush is pretty long. So what I do is coat my lashes once using the lower half and then use the tip wala side for second coat. The end towards the tip gives brilliant volume to my lashes!(Well not as much as my Loreal Volume million lashes, that I have kept for special occasions but this is a very wearable daily use mascara) I don’t even use an eyelash curler with this and still it holds the curl for an entire day. Also this mascara dries pretty quickly, on the eyes as well as in the tube. Within a month of use, the mascara in my tube feels thicker!! Another drawback is that it smudges a bit as the day wears by, but well this ain’t waterproof. Next time I’ll probably pick the waterproof version of the same mascara. Overall I love this baby!!

 

I am attaching a pic to show you how it looks on my eyes. I have used just this mascara on the lft in the pic(my right eye) and my left eye is bare. I purposely didn’t use an eyeliner here so as to show you how pigmented it is and gives the effect as if I have tightlined my eyes.(Please ignore my dark circles as I was feeling a little under the weather and didn’t feel like applying a concealer)

• Curls my lashes and holds the curl throughout the day
• Affordable
• Doesn’t clump

 

Cons of Rimmel Scandal eyes Show Off Mascara:

• Smudges a bit.
• Dries pretty fast in the tube.
Overall I would definitely recommend you to give it a try, it’s one of the best drugstore mascaras
available out there!
