Rimmel ScandalEyes Bluffing Eye Shadow Stick Review

Rimmel introduced more shadow sticks to the existing ones, I picked up 3 and I must say they are awesome! Eye makeup lovers, you have to try these out. Reviewing the shade Bluffing as of now. Read on 🙂

My Experience with Rimmel ScandalEyes Bluffing Eye Shadow Stick:

This crayon as the name conveys, comes in a chubby crayon-type pencil. All the pencils are black and have a transparent lid. The lower section of the pencil is color coded which is shimmery nude in this case. I would have loved if the cap shut with a click as I am scared it might open in the pouch and create a mess. They have to be sharpened to get a fresh tip each time.

The texture is ultra smooth and one stroke gives full on color. The texture is so smooth that I tend to overdo it some times. The pigmentation is buildable, but the shade is light, so building up might lead to a cake-y look.

The shade is shimmery n*de and can be worn to formal events. You can pair it with a simple black liner like in the EOTD or apply it like a highlighter shade on the brow bone or inner corner of the eyes.

The staying power is something that needs a bit of improvement. Due to the creamy texture, the shadow takes a while to settle down completely.  The best way to wear it would be to top it with a powder eyeshadow or a translucent powder. The staying power varies from 3-4 hours without any base or powder on top.
