My Thoughts on the Rimmel Vinyl Max Lip Gloss in Muse :
This is my first congregation with Rimmel glosses and Rimmel Vinyl Max Lip Gloss in Muse has been a pleasant experience.
The shade Muse, as described by the brand is the perfect sober and neutral shade. It is a frosty creamy caramel color lipgloss with loads of shimmer. It is a perfect shade which can easily light up your otherwise mundane and boring lipcolor. I also think, it is one of those shades which can make your nude or “whitish” lip colors work. It did for me, will share that later. Read on to know more about it, but before here’s how the color is,
What I love about Rimmel Vinyl Max Lip Gloss in Muse :
• The price.
• The quantity.
• The packaging.
• The humungous wand. The wand ensures that your whole lip gets an even coat of the color. The wand is extremely soft and does what it should be doing. It is 5 times bigger and thicker than my other lipcolor wands. (It looks like a well fed one and the other look like they have been starving since ages. :P)
• The color Muse is great for everyday use; it is one of those shades which you can use for working out an overly mute and nude color ( READ : A SHADE WHICH WASHES YOU OUT COMPLETELY).
• It is light on the lips.
• Not at all sticky and goopy.
• Has a sweet caramel-y scent. I LOVE IT.
• It is quiet moisturizing.
• The shimmer is not OTT. It gives a healthy shine to the lips.
• The staying power of the gloss is pretty good, stays on for about 3-4 hours with drinks and snacks. It may fade a tad but never disappears.
• The gloss is thick and pigmented.
• One swipe is enough to cover up pigmented lips.
What I hate about the Rimmel Vinyl Max Lip Gloss in Muse :
I personally do not have anything to hate or dislike about them, but yes, people who do not like scented and shimmery lip products may not like this one.
Final Verdict :
Atleast one shade from the Rimmel Vinyl Max Lip Gloss range is a must in every vanity I feel. You’d love them. They are affordable and efficient. Rimmel has done a good job with the Rimmel Vinyl Max Lip Gloss range.
