- New concept lip fixer, never remove all day long.
My Take on RiRe Wine Burgundy Lip Manicure High Fix:
Packaging: So cute, I love Korean beauty products because of their cute packaging. The product comes in a round pot and the brush is stuck to a black cap. The brush is similar to what you see in Colorbar matte liquid lipstick and is good for precise application, but the cap is tiny and a bit tricky to work with. Overall, the packaging is a total score.
Texture: It is very smooth to apply, reminds me of Peripera Lip Tint except that Rire is way more pigmented. It does not tug on dry lips and a lip balm underneath is not mandatory. Another great feature of this product is that it dries in a matter of seconds and when we purse our lips together or smack them, they do not stick together or appear tacky.
Color: A beautiful, bright red wine color with blue undertones – this color might appear a bit scary to some. On the contrary, it goes well with dusky and brown skin tones and makes our face appear brighter and teeth brighter – I specifically look for these features when I buy lipsticks.
Pigmentation: Awesome pigmentation and it perfectly camouflages my pigmented lips. A small quantity is enough to cover my lips and easy to spread with fingers before it dries.
Shimmer and Shine: It has no shimmer or shine whatsoever. On first swatch, it might appear a little wet or shiny however, in a couple of seconds, it dries out into a smooth, velvet matte finish.
Fragrance: I love the smell – it smells of vanilla yogurt and is perfect ambrosia for lips. The smells fades a little but still traces of it linger till it’s removed.
Wear Time: One needs a very good makeup remover to remove this lip manicure because it doesn’t budge otherwise. It might fade a little with oily food, but otherwise, it does not budge at all. In fact, it is little a too stubborn to remove.
I am really happy that I bought this product and I am so thankful to the Korean beauty guru who introduced me to this product.
