Oud al Qasr by Roberto Cavalli is an oriental fragrance for women. This is a new fragrance. Oud al Qasr was launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is Louise Turner. The fragrance features cedar, agarwood (oud), labdanum and vanilla.
My Experience with Roberto Cavalli Oud Al Qasr Eau De Parfum:
Just look at this pretty bottle of perfume – opaque, metallic purple bottle with gold detailing, classy and beautiful! The stopper is a metal stopper in the shape of Roberto Cavalli’s logo and it’s heavy. The bottle actually looks expensive.
I have never tried any fragrance from Roberto Cavalli and what else can you expect from me except picking up another oud fragrance 😛 Anyway, getting back to the review, this fragrance is a very strong oud fragrance.
Oud Al Qasr is marketed as a women’s fragrance, but this will work for both men and women. This is so strong that you need just one spray that will linger on for the entire day. The initial spray is strong – smoky, woody, spicy scent. As it dries down, the oud gets prominent with vanilla and a hint of spice.
It smells very mature, sophisticated and classy. This is a complex fragrance, not everyone is going to like it, but I love this perfume even more after it dries down. The sillage is very good. Oud Al Qasr is a perfect night-time winter or fall scent. This fragrance is very long lasting and lasts for the whole day on my skin.
