In past, I had purchased Rodin Olio Lusso luxury lipsticks and I loved them. Recently, they have launched a few more shades and I picked up few. The shade I will be reviewing today is “Pinky Winky”.

As Linda Rodin sees it, glowing skin and the right lipstick negate the need for other types of makeup. Linda’s so simple, yet so luxe, her morning routine goes like this: First she spreads a few drops of RODIN olio lusso Face Oil on her still damp face. Next Linda applies one of her five pigment-rich lipsticks, depending on her mood and sometimes her outfit, then she’s out the door.

My Experience with Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Lipstick Pinky Winky:

Packaging: It comes housed in a transparent plastic case with RODIN printed on the top of the cap and on the rim of the case. The tube is transparent and you can see colour of the lipstick from outside which makes shade identification easier. The name of the shade is printed on the bottom of the tube.

Texture: Linda Rodin is known for her fantastic skincare range and I was sure that the lipstick were made from top notch ingredients. Rodin lipsticks are super creamy and offer a soft matte finish with slight sheen to it. These glide on smoothly and does not cling on to any dry patches of my lips which make them look juicy and fuller.

Pigmentation: Rodin lipsticks are highly pigmented and offer sheer to medium coverage that you can definitely build up to full by layering it on. The best part of Rodin lipsticks are that they do not feather or bleed around the lips and are super comfortable to wear. I find formulation of Rodin lipstick better than Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks and Tom Ford lipsticks.

Shade: The shade “Pinky Winky” is a inky berry shade which would look stunning on all skin tones.

Wear Time: Being a stainy matte formula, I wasn’t expecting much wear time from these, but these offer a good wear time. I got 5 hours of wear time and it left a beautiful stain after eating or drinking with didn’t fade for another 2 hours. It also fades evenly.
