In the recent past, I had purchased Rodin Olio Lusso lipsticks and I love them. They had launched a few more shades in their lipstick collection and I have picked up a few of them. In this post, I would be reviewing the lipstick “Red Hedy.”

Fashionistas constantly press Linda on how she achieves her look; now they have their answer. As Linda Rodin sees it, glowing skin and the right lipstick negate the need for other types of makeup. Linda’s so simple, yet so luxe, her morning routine goes like this: First she spreads a few drops of Rodin Olio Lusso Face Oil on her still damp face. Next Linda applies one of her five pigment-rich lipsticks, depending on her mood and sometimes her outfit, then she’s out the door.

My Experience with Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Lipstick Red Hedy:

This lipstick comes housed in a transparent plastic case with Rodin printed on the top of the cap and on the rim of the case. You can see colour of the lipstick from outside the tube which makes finding the shade easily in your stash. The name of the shade is printed on the bottom of the tube.

Linda Rodin is known for her fantastic skincare range and I was sure that the lipsticks were made from top-notch ingredients as well. This lipstick is super creamy and offers a soft, matte finish with a slight sheen to it. It glides smoothly and does not cling on to any dry patches of lips, which makes them look juicy and fuller.

“Red Hedy” is a classic blue-based red shade which would look stunning on all skin tones. Being a matte formula, I wasn’t expecting much wear time from this lipstick, but I got around 5 hours of lasting power and it left a beautiful stain after eating or drinking, which didn’t fade for another two hours. It also fades evenly from the lips.

Rodin lipsticks are highly pigmented and offers sheer to medium coverage. You can can definitely build up to full coverage with layering it on. The best part about Rodin lipsticks are that they do not feather or bleed around the lips and are super comfortable to wear.
