I think this is a new variety that I am bringing to my reviews because as far as I know I have never ever reviewed a loose powder! I actually needed one in my life although I had the L’oreal one. I was just bored with it and was looking out for something that gives sheer natural coverage. I saw this and really loved the concept, so picked it up. So let’s see how this new one performed.
Price: $14 for 6.5 g
This ultra-fine loose powder provides skin-perfecting coverage with a seamless and naturally translucent finish. The unique sponge-in-cap applicator delivers superior powder-to-skin adherence. And there’s never any mess or waste.
My Experience with Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Truly Translucent Loose Powder in 10 Light:
The Sally Hansen loose powder comes in a metallic green packaging and the lid has a sponge. Actually it had a nice plastic wrap with all the instructions written over it with the name but I thought they would be printed on the powder packaging. I peeled it off and then realised and now it look so boring. The powder could be easily carried during the travel but the lid does not remain attached to the base, so there can be issue of fall-out of the loose powder. The sponge applicator is super soft and goes on very smooth on the skin.
The loose powder is very fine and the texture when rubbed on the skin is smooth and flawless. I only hate the fact that the applicator has to be dipped at least 7-8 times in the powder to cover my entire face which becomes very tedious at a point. I apply a cream foundation below and to set it I use this over it. Using this alone will give a very sheer natural coverage. But I prefer topping it up on my foundation because this gives a very light coverage and I have imperfections all over my face which this cannot hide. The texture created on my face is like the air-brush effect which looks flawless and not at all gritty or cakey.
It does not accentuate dry patches in fact it covers up the patches created by my foundation. The loose powder brings instant freshness, brightness and a mattifying effect on my face. It tops up the dewiness and oily skin making it matte and it stays that way for 4-5 hours where I can’t see any oil gushing up on my face. The loose powder in all stays for a good time of 5-6 hours and then I can start seeing the dewy base. I like that my face looks as fresh as always and this does not oxidise at any point. I am currently loving using this one and have enjoyed this since the past 1 month, but I wouldn’t get this again as I love experimenting with new products.

• The finish on the face is just flawless and it totally transforms my oily/dewy face into a matte one.

• It brightens up my face and gives a finish which makes my face look like it is free from any imperfections.
• The sponge is very soft and puffs up on my face very nicely.
• It stays on my face for 5-6 hours and does not oxidise at any point.
• It does not accentuate dry patches nor does it look cakey.
Cons of Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Truly Translucent Loose Powder in 10 Light:
• The cap sponge might separate so that might cause fall-out if carried along.
• It is very boring or rather tedious to dip that sponge in the powder again and again.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Truly Translucent Loose Powder in 10 Light?
I definitely recommend this one to give a minimal coverage and a natural finish. I wouldn’t get this again as this will last long; I will hop on to try some new ones.
I have never really been into Sally Hansen Cosmetics, but this product has totally impressed me, which is why I wouldn’t mind trying some more products from them!
