Price:

INR 350 for 13.3 ml

Packaging:

This diva comes in a sturdy glass bottle with a crystal stud embedded in front of the bottle; well I wish they could actually embed a diamond in its place to give it a real feel 😛 Anyways, this stud also gives it a nice touch in its own way. The applicator is fine to work with too.

My experience with Sally Hansen Save the Date Diamond Strength Nail Color:

I was looking for a different shade. And I found the name interesting. Seriously, I think I get sold by the names even before I see the actual color. I checked the website and I just loved it from the moment I saw it. It has the most perfect purple with magenta undertones or a burgundy with some purple, I don’t know how to describe the color but I found it really pretty. It has slight shimmer to it that is very subtle and adds to its beauty. It has some really vampy sexy vibe to it. This may seem like a fall/ winter shade, but I think it is going to be my valentine shade this year!! Sally Hansen Save the Date Diamond Strength Nail Color (3)

Single coat looked more or less like a darker version of mixture of Devil wears Purple and Crazy Berry from Maybelline; but two coats changed the entire look of the color. It turned into a deep burgundy with a magenta shimmer (I still am not sure if I am describing it the way it actually is!!). The only thing that bothered me was its drying time, but that I guess is the same with all dark shades. But this problem could be sorted to a great extent by using top coat. Now, this is a color I feel will totally rock on your tips as well as toes. And I am pretty sure, it will suit all skin tones.

Now coming to staying power, I didn’t expect it to be extraordinary since I have had my share of being duped by long lasting claims. But this was chip free for straight 6 days on my nails after that I could see some chipping; this is great for me! Moreover, I don’t think I have the patience to wear the same nail paint for 10 days may be on my feet but definitely not on my hands.

Summing up pros and cons:
