My experience with Sally Hansen Twinkling Diamond Lip Treatment :
Packaging: The packaging is very simple. It comes in a slender plastic tube with a metallic silver brush handle. The brush is quite tiny too and it makes the application of the gloss so much more precise. The packaging does not have any text on it. It very much resembles the packaging of Maybelline Color Sensational lip glosses. It is also sturdy and travel friendly.
Shade: Twinkling is a dark mauve lip gloss. It has a beautiful non-shimmery shine though it is not over the top. It looks very beautiful on the lips. It appears quite dark when swatched on the hand but looks comparatively light in color when applied on the lips. Overall, it really compliments my skin tone and makes me appear at least one shade fairer. Because it is such a pretty every-day wear kind of shade, this lip gloss has been getting a lot of love from me these past few months. This is one such shade that I feel will suit all skin tones. This lip gloss does not contain any shimmer particles, making it glossy without being excessively shimmery on the lips. also, this lip gloss does a great job of hiding the pigmentation on my lips.
Texture and pigmentation: The texture of Sally Hansen lip gloss is very smooth. It does not feel sticky or greasy on the lips. it does feel a little tingly though but this tingling sensation subsides after a couple of minutes of application. It instantly brightens up the face. It is a very moisturizing lip gloss. I don’t usually wear a lip balm or a lip stick underneath this lip gloss and on its own too, this lip gloss keeps my lips moisturized for good 4+ hours. It is nicely pigmented lip gloss. I usually wear only two coats of this lip gloss and it stays on me for around 3 hours with a light meal. This lip gloss does not transfer as much as most lip glosses do.
Pros of Sally Hansen Twinkling Diamond Lip Treatment :

- It is one of the most moisturizing lip glosses I’ve ever owned. Keeps lips moisturized for a good 4+ hours even without layering it with a lip balm.
- I really like the shine it provides my lips.
- Does not transfer much.
- Stays on for 3-4 hours on me.
- I find this shade very beautiful and flattering on my skin tone. It even makes me appear one shade fairer.
- Hides the pigmentation of my lips.
- Compact and travel friendly packaging.
- Does not contain any shimmer particles. Can be worn on a daily basis.
Cons of Sally Hansen Twinkling Diamond Lip Treatment :
- I don’t like the packaging at all.
- People who prefer shimmery lip glosses may not like this lip gloss.
- Gives a tingling sensation on the lips when applied.
- I feel the quantity is slightly less for the price (even though it is not that expensive)
Will I repurchase it/ do I recommend Sally Hansen Twinkling Diamond Lip Treatment ?
Yes I’ll repurchase this same shade and I feel this is a must have lip gloss shade for every girl in her 20s.
Conclusion on Sally Hansen Twinkling Diamond Lip Treatment:
One of my favorite lip glosses, this one! Keeps my lips moisturized, hides the pigmentation on my lips and provides a beautiful shine.
