Schwarzkopf Bonacure Smooth Shine Conditioner

Schwarzkopf Bonacure Smooth Shine Conditioner

Hi All,

This is my first review on IMBB and I hope you all will like it!

Schwarzkopf Bonacure Smooth Shine Conditioner

Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Smooth Shine is a range for people like me with coarse, unmanageable and dull hair, which is exactly my problem. I am prone to annoying frizz and have veryyyyyyy curly, unruly hair.

What the Site Claims About BC Smooth Shine Range:
Smooth Shine. 24 –hour smoothness + mirror shine. Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Hairtherapy Smooth Shine Conditioner is a lightweight conditioner, suitable for all hair types. Smooth Shine Conditioner detangles, smoothes and controls unmanageable hair. Also rejuvenates the hair’s moisture; leaving it soft and easy to manage. Protects the hair’s surface from harmful external influences. BC hairtherapy with Ionic Polymer Shield Complex smoothes and provides long-lasting frizz protection and shine. Amino Cell Rebuild Technology restores the hair’s elasticity and rebuilds hair structure from within.

Two

Fragrance:
Light fruity exotic blossoms, warm woods, creamy vanilla and smooth ambery musks.

Directions For Use:
Massage into towel-dried hair and rinse-out after 2 minutes.

My Opinion for Bonacure Smooth Shine Conditioner:

This conditioner is thick and creamy and not much quantity is required. It spreads evenly and easily through the hair. It comes in a sleek white bottle with purple base. It has a flip cap to open, purely milky white in colour and very light floral fragrance (very mild- won’t be a problem to anyone).

Three

I left it for a few minutes in the hair and then combed and finally rinsed it out. My hair was instantly smooth, soft, more manageable.

I left my hair to dry naturally ( I always do – don’t use dryer ever). The results were real good. Smooth, shiny, no frizzy fly-away bits. It cleansed my hair, provided moisture and long-lasting protection against frizz. That’s what I expected from my conditioner. May be the results would have been better with the same range of shampoo, but I didn’t feel the slightest need of using one. Using this conditioner only is giving perfect results. I used it with Matrix Biolage Smooththerapie Shampoo( will review it soon).

But, this product contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate(SLS). This can be drying on the hair and although this product didn’t feel drying in the slightest, this may be a discouraging factor for some.

Price:
Rs. 540/- for 200 ml. I got it at a discount of 10%, so 486/- for me.

Active Ingredients:
Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Quaternium-87, Dimethicone, Isopropyl Myrisate, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Glyceryl Stearate, Distearoylethyl Hydroxyethylmonium Methosulfate, Fragrance, Propylene Glycol, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Polyquaternium-37, Dimethiconol, Methylparaben, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Panthenol, PPG-1 Trideceth-6, Benzyl Salicylate, Hydrolyzed Keratin, BCC12-Base.

Pros of Schwarzkopf Bonacure Smooth Shine Conditioner

• It does what it claims.
• Instantly smoothens and cleanses unruly, frizzy hair.
• Enhances shine and softness.
• Super creamy formula, provides moisture.
• Less quantity needs to be used. The bottle will last me for 3-4 months easily.
• Very mild fragrance, will not irritate anyone.
• Sleek, smart packaging. Travel- friendly, easy to carry.
• All in all, a great product for curly, unruly hair.

Cons of Schwarzkopf Bonacure Smooth Shine Conditioner

• Price is a bit on the higher side.
• Availability is an issue, salons or some exclusive stores only.
• Contains SLS.
• I don’t think it would be any good for people with straight hair. It would weigh down on their hair.

Verdict:
I would definitely recommend this if, like me, you have curly frizzy hair that can look dull. I feel like it really smoothened my hair and made them look healthy and much more manageable. This is the first product from Schwarzkopf BC range that I have tried and I am quite satisfied and impressed with this. I will keep on buying this till I find something better. I want to try BC’s complete range – Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Masque. That should give awesome results.

IMBB Rating:
I would give this 4.5 out of 5 (0.5 saved for some better product in future 😉 ).

    nice review charu…. :victory2: :victory2: :victory2: :victory2:

  2. I’ve used this. :yahoo: :yahoo: n it worked so nicely for my hair.bt then it has hell lot of chemicals.so discontinued for something mild.

  3. I use this. I got my hair rebonded some time ago and was adviced to use this shampoo and conditioner. Yes it does smoothen out frizz and flyaways. But continuous use can weigh your hair down as its loaded with chemicals. I swicth to a different shampoo once in a while.
    Nice review. :waytogo:
