I am enjoying a lazy Sunday, and pampering myself. I had a great shower time today, using a body polisher and a nourishing mask. This reminded me to review a hair mask I got a few days back from Schwarzkopf. Chayanti had already reviewed the Schwarzkopf Gliss Million Gloss Shampoo, and I got the conditioner and hair mask from the same range. Reviewing Schwarzkopf Gliss Million Gloss 10 Days Shine-Mask for you ladies today 🙂

Product Description:
A lovely hair mask that helps to nurture the hair while giving it a gorgeous sheen and soft feel! Thanks to liquid keratin, this shampoo helps to nurture your hair properly for a fuller, fresher feel. Perfect for hair without shine.

Varies from store to store, but approximately Rs. 999 for 150 ml. I got it online at a discount.

Directions:
Massage into damp hair, leave in for a few minutes, and then rinse thoroughly.

Packaging: The mask comes in a small bright blue tub enclosed in a cardboard box. The cardboard box isn’t very sturdy, but looks extremely attractive with shimmery aqua blue color. The details are printed both on the cardboard box and the tub. The jar is sturdy and not very bulky, so you can carry it for travels.

My Experience with Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair Million Gloss 10 Days Shine Treatment Mask:

Summers make my hair lose its shine. I travel a lot, plus I am exposed to sun rays for long hours, hence my tresses turn parched and dull. Previously, I have used Matrix OptiBlack Conditioner, which was quite good. I wanted to try something new, hence the Million Gloss Duo came home with me.

The texture is thick and creamy. I apply it on my wet hair shafts except the roots. It is easy to spread and imparts a slippery feeling to my hair. I focus on the length more than the tips, as my hair has turned a dull shade, and looks lifeless.

Washing is easy, and doesn’t require huge quantities of water. You can feel the softness in your hair even while washing off the mask. I air dry my hair, as I feel using heat or blower will compromise on the effectiveness of the mask.

My hair looks shiny, okay, not the kind of sparkling bouncing mane that you see in TV commercials 😛 but given the damaged condition of my hair, a shine that is visible without artificial lighting speaks volumes. There is definitely softness and good volume, and my hair stays bouncy for two days. It doesn’t work on frizz or do anything for split ends; also if you have very dry hair, a serum might be required to detangle knots.

The 10-day claim is exaggerated, however, the shine easily lasts for 5 days, even after shampooing after 2 days. I have used this mask a few times, and I feel my hair definitely looks better (PS: I am not saying it has become better). This is not a damage repair mask, so I couple it with an intensive moisturizing treatment for enjoying the benefits of soft and glossy hair.
