Hello Beautiful Ladies,

When you get bored and feel the hair products in the retail store are not working for you, you have to use the products the Hair Experts use! I always used to wonder, how is it that, only the Salon guys could transform my hair into beautiful tresses and then my hairstylist revealed the products she uses and one of which was the Schwarzkopf Loopy Curl Cream.

Though, the name is very difficult to pronounce, I always used to see the Company’s products in most of the Salons I visited and when I was told about it, I badly wanted to buy it! So here is my review…

What the Company Claims:

• Light natural Curl Control
• Soft Curl separation
• 40% longer lasting curls
• Natural shine+ Humidity and heat protection.

How to Use it:

Apply the product to wet hair and scrunch the hair.

I picked this one at the Naturals Salon in Chennai at Rs.700 for 150ml.

My Experience with Schwarzkopf Osis+ Loopy Form Curl Cream- 2 Form:

When I had been to Naturals in Chennai for a haircut, I saw the hairstylist apply this product and he suggested I use it for my curls. I picked this one up reluctantly as am not a huge fan of live-in products for my hair (most of these products have left my hair looking oily and limp in the past).

My hair is wavy and I love what this cream does to the texture of my hair! There are many variants to choose from depending on the density of the curls required – This is the ‘Light control’ version. It has a white creamy gel texture and a pleasant Salon fragrance!

All you have to do is, after a bath while the hair is wet, you take a little product and scrunch it to your hair and let the hair air dry and then separate the curls using your hand! If you want to use a hair dryer, you have use a diffuser or else the curls will not form correctly.
It lives up to its claims but does not have any effect on the dry hair. You must wet your hair for maximum benefits.

The curls stay on for a long time, sometimes more than 24 hours (when combed occasionally). It also acts as a live-in conditioner and makes your hair smell pleasant and fresh. The curls formed are naturally wavy and it gives a unique style to the hair ends. When I have bad hair days, this product comes to my rescue, all I do is slather some cream and comb my hair, it gives an effect of beach waves. This is how my hair looks with and without the cream.

 

As far as I am concerned, this product is flawless! This cream lasts a really long time; its ages since I picked this one and I still have some product remaining. This is a Salon-exclusive product and hence available only in those Salons which sell Schwarzkopf.

My sister picked one at Blunt in Bangalore few months ago, but I saw that it has been renamed as OSiS+ Curl Me Soft Velvet Curl Cream. It is the same product with the same benefits, but only the tube packaging is replaced.

So the next time when you go in for your haircut, don’t forget to wander your eyes to spot this product!

• Meets the claims the Company states.
• Forms light loopy curls.
• Makes the waves look bouncy and thick.
• Adds a watery texture to the hair with a little shine.
• Works as a live-in conditioner.
• Curls stay for a longer period, more than 24 hours, with occasional combing.

Cons of Schwarzkopf Osis+ Loopy Form Curl Cream:

• It’s Salon Exclusive and thus not easily available at all salons.
• Cannot be used on dry hair, damp hair is mandatory for long lasting curls.

Would I repurchase Schwarzkopf Osis+ Loopy Form Curl Cream?

Yes, I would love to try the new variant available for denser curls.
