How are you all? Today’s product is “Schwarzkopf Professional Bonacure Scalp Therapy Deep Cleansing Shampoo”. So, without any delay, let’s start the review.

Product Description:

BC Deep Cleansing Shampoo with nutritive Balance Complex and Menthol deeply cleanses and purifies all types of excess oil and residues while nourishing the scalp.

Massage into wet hair and rinse out. Ideal top use before chemical processes and for fine hair.

Packaging:

It comes in an opaque white coloured tube which has a translucent flip cap. The cap clicks shut tight and thereby prevents any leakage/ spillage. The hole is just right to dispense the shampoo. I have carried it while travelling and had no issues with the packaging. I would have liked the packaging more had it been transparent.

My Experience with Schwarzkopf Professional Bonacure Scalp Therapy Deep Cleansing Shampoo:

Well, I have always been prone to major hair fall. Tried numerous medicines over a period of time but, none worked. So, now I live with the hair fall without worrying to cure it. But, I noticed that my scalp was getting oily on the second day of hair wash which would not only weigh my hair down but also, lead to more hair fall.

In a desperate attempt to control the ever increasing hair fall, I saw this product online and ordered it the very next moment as it is meant for oily scalps.

It is clear transparent shampoo which has medium consistency. Two coin sized dollops is what you need for medium length hair. It lathers well, all thanks to SLS present in it. The shampoo has a strong fragrance which thankfully fades post washing the hair. I don’t detest the fragrance, but, I wish it was milder. The shampoo cleanses the scalp well and leaves a squeaky clean feeling. The best part is that it added a bit of volume into my thin limp hair .

Though, my hair became a bit dry as I intentionally skipped the conditioner but it kept my scalp oil free for a good three days. I combated the problem of dry hair with a conditioner next time and it worked just fine and my hair was smoother.

All in all, I found this shampoo to be worth the price as it did not aggravate the hair fall, it did keep my scalp oil free and added a bit of volume as well to my limp hair. But, I will not recommend it to be used on every day basis as it contains alcohol ( which might be the reason for making my hair dry) and SLS. The lesser the chemicals, the better it is for the hair.

Pros of Schwarzkopf Professional Bonacure Scalp Therapy Deep Cleansing Shampoo:

• True to its name, it does deep cleanses the scalp.
• Does not weigh down the hair.
• Controls the oil secretion on the scalp. It was almost oil free for a good 3 days.
• Lathers well.

Cons of Schwarzkopf Professional Bonacure Scalp Therapy Deep Cleansing Shampoo:

• Dries out the hair.
• The fragrance is a bit on the heavier side.
• Contains a lot of chemicals.

Do I Recommend/ Will I Repurchase Schwarzkopf Professional Bonacure Scalp Therapy Deep Cleansing Shampoo?

Yes to both. But, with a word of caution. Do not use it on every day basis. Also, you can use different shampoos for the scalp and hair to prevent your hair from drying out.
