My Experience with Sephora Avocado Nourishing and Repairing Hand Mask:
This mask comes in a sleek, travel-friendly pouch. There is enough information on the usage behind the sachet. I like the concept of disposable masks and in this way the application is mess free and gives you time to work on other things if you do not want to relax. I have also used these masks when I am in travelling in train/bus.
The mask is presented in form of gloves. There are two glove that are attached and can be ripped apart and used on the hands. The mask for me is pretty big but I do have smaller hands and I am sure that it would fit to majority. The mask has an outer plastic covering and the inner mesh has the creamy product. The ingredient in the mask usually settles at the corners of the gloves and thus you need to massage to make sure that the product gets evenly distributed to your hands. I leave the mask for more than 20 minutes, remove them and then massage the remaining product onto my hands.
The mask makes my hands very smooth and soft. This mask is mainly targeted to nourish and repair skin. I always use hand creams so my hands are not very dry, but I usually get dryness near the area between my thumb and index finger. This mask helps me treat this area. The product does not drip and generates a light heat inside the gloves.
The product does nourish the hands more than a traditional hand cream. When you remove it too, there is a lot of product inside the gloves and it might get wasted. At times, I use these gloves and then give it to my husband to put them on for some time! It does moisturize the same way even for the second time. Even though the product doesn’t have to be washed, it leaves a sticky kind of feeling on the hand and I do not like the residue. The moisturization factor of the hand mask is incredible. It makes my hands soft and smooth for more than a day. My hands feel beautiful and intensively nourished. Luckily, the results stay a little longer even if I wash my hands. It does eliminate dry flakes in the hand. The results on the first day might not be the same when you see the next day; the results are thus temporary due to the presence of silicones which create these immediate results. The mask also softens the cuticles and adds a shine to the nails. I usually use a cuticles pusher and push the cuticles but do not cut them. You can opt this if needed. These masks are just quick fixes and not for someone who wants longer benefits.
