Sephora Blush in Romantic Rose Review

Sephora Blush in Romantic Rose Review

Hey Girls,

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend, I know I am. Today, I thought I would review a blush for you guys. This one is from Sephora, that is their basic line which also has makeup. They have an amazing colour selection at a good quality. This blush is in the colour “Romantic Rose.”  It is a beautiful, peachy matte colour and hence is good for every day use. Read on to find out how I liked it:

My Take on Sephora Blush in Romantic Rose:

This blush is part of the makeup that my cousin brought with her during my sister’s wedding. We had given her a list of the different products which we wanted. The things that she could not find in her local stores and all, she got the matching colours for those. She got us two blushes from the Sephora collection, although the other one is not a big favourite of mine, I do like this one.

The packaging of this blush reminds me somewhat of the MAC blushes, maybe because of their clear lids. The colour is a peachy colour which is pretty sheer and not as pigmented. So, you can easily use it without going overboard. It has absolutely no shimmer in it and so it can be used as a day blush.

The colour shows up on the skin, but the sad part is its staying power. It lasts only about 3 hours on my skin. That may even be because I have oily and sweaty skin. My skin just cannot bear this extreme climate and everything I put on it just disappears. Still for all of you with drier skin, this may work a bit better.

I mostly wear this blush with coral lipsticks because it goes so well with them and gives me a peachy sort of a complexion. I love it for its colour mainly. I would not buy it again because I think we can get many other blushes in this same price range.

Let’s just sum up this review:

Pros of Sephora Blush in Romantic Rose:

  • Beautiful colour.
  • Available at all Sephora outlets.
  • Price is not too high.
  • Everyday blush.

Cons of Sephora Blush in Romantic Rose:

  • Low staying power.
  • Not too pigmented.

I swatched it heavily on one cheek to give a good idea about the colour. Please excuse the dark unbleached hair 😛 Waiting for Tuesday to bleach them 😛

  1. I love the 2nd face swatch Harman! The color looks lovely on you, but yeah I do agree that the couple of blushes I have from Sephora have very poor staying power
