Hello Ladies,

Recently, Sephora added a couple of shades to their already existing cream lip stains and I bought a few of them. So, today’s review is about the Sephora Collection Cream Lip in the shade “04 Endless Purple”. Read on to find out whether this is a hit or miss.

My Experience with Sephora Collection 04 Endless Purple Cream Lip Stain:

Packaging: This lipstick comes packaged in a transparent see-through tube with a black cap. The name of the lipstick range is printed on the tube while the brand name is printed on the cap. The shade number is printed at the bottom of the tube. The see-through tube makes it easy to identify the shade. It comes with a regular doe-foot applicator, which facilitates precise application of the product. This lipstick has a beautiful smell just like a vanilla cake.

Shade: Sephora offers a huge variety of shades in this line and recently they added quite a few more, including metallic shades. So now, they have a whooping 90 shades in this collection. What more should I say there is typically every color that you can think about and more than that in this collection. The color “Endless Purple” is a beautiful dark mauve shade with a hint of purple. It is a gorgeous and a trendy shade that will suit any complexion.

Formula: The Cream Lip Stain has a comfortable, creamy texture more like a liquid lipstick rather than a stain. This lipstick glides on easily and settles into a matte finish within a minute. Once it dries, it stays put on the lips without any smudging. The pigmentation is amazing, one swipe gives complete opaque coverage. This lipstick feels very lightweight and comfortable on the lips. It doesn’t dry out the lips, unlike most of the liquid lipsticks do. Also, it doesn’t accentuate the dry patches on the lips.

Wear Time: The Cream Lip Stain has an amazing staying power. It stays for almost 10 hours without any smudging or fading. It survives meals; I couldn’t see any significant difference on my lips even after an oily meal. And, it is a transfer-proof lipstick which is a huge plus. Though at the end of the day it fades a bit, nothing ridiculous and weird.
