I love Sephora collection eye contour pencils as they are one of the best eye pencils available in the market. I already own a few shades from this range, and recently I added one more shade to my collection. So today, I am going to review the Sephora collection Black Lace Contour Eye Pencil 12hr Wear Waterproof. Read on to find out whether it is a yay or nay.

My Experience with Sephora Collection Black Lace Contour Eye Pencil 12hr Wear Waterproof:

Sephora has a vast range of shades in their eye contour pencil collection. Eye contour pencils are nothing but an eyeliner, which can also be used as a kohl pencil. This range has shimmer, glitter and matte finish eye pencils.

Packaging: The Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil 12hr Wear Waterproof comes in a black colored pencil form with a black cap. The bottom part of the pencil is color-coded, so it is easier to identify the shade. It is a sharpenable pencil, but it doesn’t come with a sharpener.

Shade: The shade, “Black Lace” is a pure matte jet black color with no shimmers or glitters what so ever. The black is pure and deep and will complement any look.

Formula: The pencil’s formula is very creamy that is very easy to apply. Since it is a gel eye pencil, it is very comfortable to apply it as an eyeliner and also use it in my waterline. Unlike other gel-based eye pencils, this one doesn’t break off easily though it is creamy. This product is insanely pigmented; it has a huge color payoff and provides an opaque finish. A single stroke is enough to get adequate color on the eyes.

Wear Time: It is a 12hr wear pencil which is true because, it stays all day long on my eyes. The pencil doesn’t smudge or wear off from my eyes, which is great. Since the eye pencil is waterproof, it doesn’t budge easily. But, we can easily remove it with oil-based makeup removing wipes.
