My Experience with Sephora Collection Cappucino Contour Eye Pencil 12hr Wear Waterproof:
Sephora has a vast range of shades in their eye contour pencil collection. I have already reviewed the shade “Good Mood”, which was a huge hit in the market. Today, I’m reviewing the shade “Cappucino”. It is nothing but an eyeliner, which can also be used as a kohl pencil. This range has both shimmer and matte eye pencils.
Packaging: The Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil 12hr Wear Waterproof comes in a black colored pencil form with a black cap. The bottom part of the pencil is color-coded, so it is easier to identify the shade. It is a sharpenable pencil, but it doesn’t come with a sharpener.
Shade: The shade, “Cappucino” is described as a “brown glitter”, but it’s a light bronze color with a lot of gold sparkles and shimmers. The eyeliner is so sparkly and makes it appear as if you have applied glitter on your eyes. It will not be suitable for lining the waterline since it has heavy sparkles in it.
Application: The pencil is very creamy that is very easy to apply. Since it is a gel eye pencil, it is very comfortable to apply it as an eyeliner. Unlike other gel-based eye pencils, this one doesn’t break off easily.
Pigmentation: This pencil is not as pigmented as the other color, which I tried in this range. It may be because of the glitter. I actually thought that the shade is a dark brown color, but it looks like a bronze shade on the eyes. The shade looks subdued because of the presence of glitter. But, we can build the color with two or more swipes.
Wear Time: The pencil is claimed as a 12-hour pencil, but it stays only for around 6 hours. The glitters scatter all around my eyelids and the light bronze color wears off soon. I didn’t like the product for this one particular reason. Though the pencil is waterproof, still we can easily remove it with oil-based makeup removal wipes. Overall, it is an average product. I would have loved it if the pencil had a better color payoff and the glitter didn’t scatter everywhere. It made my eyes messy but, the pencil adds a nice zing to the eyelids when applied.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Sephora Collection Cappucino Contour Eye Pencil 12hr Wear Waterproof?
No. I will rather try their shimmer and matte finish pencils, which are awesome. And, I won’t recommend it as it makes the eyes messy.
