How are you doing today? We are experiencing hot & humid weather nowadays which is perfect for pool activities and I am glad to see our kiddo is learning to swim fast. However it is not working for my oily skin as I feel tanned like never before with pop of zits due to chlorinated & bleached water. But that does not stop me from letting my daughter enjoy her first swimming lessons yay! Anyway, as promised earlier, I am also here to share another gorgeous shade from Sephora jumbo liner series! I love these 12 hour wear liners for their super pigmented and long wear finish which works well on my oily eye lids though conditions apply! My Experience with Sephora Collection Green Shimmer Jumbo Liner 12 Hour Wear:

The liner comes in as a sturdy sharpen-able pencil packaging with a tight fit cap, a sharpener with every kind of packaging would have been appreciated though 😛 . I find them quite user friendly & travel friendly apart from being safe enough for sensitive skin.

The shade “green shimmer” is a gorgeous metallic green shade with hint of sparkles but I won’t call it frosty as it gives shimmery green pigmentation to my eyes. I find it very creamy and pigmented enough to give generous color payoff in one single attempt with no tugging or pulling at all. However we may need two swipes for an even finish and precise lining. I love how the creamy liner transforms into a stubborn stain which stays put for good 8+ hours on my oily eye lids that too with no flaking or uneven fading at all. But a good eye primer or eye shadow base is needed to achieve flawless long lasting finish both as an eye shadow or eye liner especially for oily skin people like me. I say so because I did find slight smudging and transferring when used on bare skin with no primer & base which needs to be taken care of!

By now I already assume that we all need a good primer or eye shadow base for a complete flawless eye makeup irrespective of our skin tone, skin type and/or imperfections and hence products like these come as a blessing for oily skin people that will stay on & on.
I have no complaints for its texture, staying power and finish which are truly beyond perfection. Even the shade compliments my pale skin and brown eyes so well. I didn’t find it glittery or frosty on my skin. I always reach for this shade considering the hot & humid weather around us which fails to smudge or fade this shade off my eyes bravo!

I need a good make up remover or simply any oil to get rid of this shimmery shade without any tugging and pulling. It will come off as melting butter while it does not buzz a little with water impressive huh! It won’t be exaggeration if I would say that I am not satisfied with just 2 shades in this range, I need more & more lol 😛 . I definitely recommend you to try this Sephora jumbo liner 12 hour wear range, which is true to its claim in every sense! I am already thinking of my next shade from this range. Needless to say I am getting it again & again.

• It compliments well on my oily eye lids with primer only for good 8+ hours that too in the hot & humid weather around us right now.
• The texture is oh so buttery which adheres on skin like cream there by setting to a stain with one gentle swipe.
• It is highly pigmented shade with crease free, smudge free and waterproof proof finish on my oily lids.
• It does not buzz off even a little with water or rubbing once it sets down to a stain.
• It stays on & on for good number hours by needing simply an oil or makeup remover to get rid of every last trace of shimmer and color off eyes.
• It does not transfer shimmer onto my skin.
• It never irritated or hurt my eyes even while using it close to lashes.
• Quite user friendly & travel friendly packaging.

Cons of Sephora Collection Green Shimmer Jumbo Liner 12 Hour Wear:

• It might smudge or fade when used on bare skin hence primer is must for oily skin beauties like me.
• The shade might be tricky for medium/dark skin beauties.

Would I Recommend or Repurchase Sephora Collection Green Shimmer Jumbo Liner 12 Hour Wear?
Well as I said earlier I assume that for a flawless and long lasting makeup we do take certain precautions such as: using primers, scrubbing skin, using eye shadow base etc hence these cons are just to remind the same! Even it works quite well with no primer as I wear it as an eye liner and it didn’t smudge though I limit its usage to lower lash line in that case. What so ever, they are a must try product for every makeup junkie.
