Hope you all are enjoying the new year with full zeal! I am here to share about another product from Sephora Collection today. This one seems perfect for the Indian summers, as the name suggests. I received it along with other goodies from husband’s office as a part of their ‘White Elephant’ game. Needless to say, I instantly fell in love with this color as I already own a couple of shades from this range. Let’s read more about Sephora Collection Indian Summer No. 79 Colorful Eyeshadow.

My Experience with Sephora Collection Indian Summer No. 79 Colorful Eyeshadow:

The shimmery eyeshadow comes in a sturdy, plastic black packaging with a transparent flip top cap. I like their sleek and travel-friendly packaging.

My shade “Indian Summer No 79” is described as a shimmery orange shade while it comes up as a peachy orange shade on my skin tone with subtle shimmers. It appears shimmery golden when applied along the lash line but it blends into a peachy orange color, maintaining the subtle translucency in the finish. The formula of this shade seems a bit stiff in the pan but it feels a bit powdery when applied on the lids.

I do see slight fallout with this shade, which is easily manageable. This eyeshadow provides a smooth, even and pigmented finish on our skin. I do feel that a primer would intensify the color pay off and give long-lasting results. This shadow shows up nicely on my bare lids but my oily lids make it fade quickly. Moreover, using a primer or base beneath ensures intense color payoff with minimal swipes.

I won’t call it a sheer finish formula as it imparts buildable coverage with a few generous dabs. Like all other shades from this range, I am impressed with this one too. The formula is crease free and budge-proof but I haven’t seen 10 hours of wear time as the brand claims. Still, I am fine with it as I hardly wear eye makeup for such long hours.

I would definitely recommend it to everyone considering its subtle, shimmery sheen and pigmented color payoff. It shows up nicely on the lids without any frosty or icy finish. I might not get it again personally as it will take me years to finish this shadow off. I am interested in trying out other shades from this range, though.
