Sephora Collection Manicure Kit Review

We all love well-manicured nails and pedicured feet …don’t we!! Getting pampered at the salon is always great but how often can we do it? Hence I picked up the manicure kit from Sephora as I wanted to do some do-it-yourself at home.

Sephora Collection Manicure Kit Packaging:
The manicure kit comes in a hard case. The one I picked up has orange geometric prints, though it also comes in pink and black case cover as well. The clasp of the kit is very sturdy and keeps the case closed properly. The case is internally lined by pink velvet lining. The kit has the following 6 tools:

1. Nail File.
2. Tweezers.
3. Cuticle Pusher.
4. Nail Clipper.
5. Scissors.
6. Angled Cuticle Trimmer.

All the tools are made with brushed stainless steel and have Sephora’s logo imprinted on them.

My Experience with Sephora Collection Manicure Kit:

Though it is a manicure kit, I find it convenient to use for pedicure as well. It is a very travel-friendly and compact kit, which I can easily fit in my purse. All the tools are of normal size, which makes them convenient to hold and easy to use. They provide a very good grip. I have been using this kit for a year and find it to be very durable and strong. I found all the tools sharp and of decent quality which do a good job. Let me share with you my experience with each tool.

1.Tweezers:

I use this every week, but not as my manicure/pedicure tool. Instead I use it to pluck any stray eyebrow hair :p It is angled and provides a very good grip on the hair. Love using this !

2. Angled Cuticle Trimmer:

I rarely use this tool, as thankfully I do not suffer from the peeling of cuticle skin. However, it is angled and very sharp. Hence it would be very useful to trim the cuticles.

3. Nail Clipper:

I use this every 2 weeks on my toe nails. It has sharp edges, which is very helpful to cut my hard toe nails.

4.  Scissors:

One of my most frequently used tool in this kit. More than using as a manicure/pedicure tool, I use it to cut eyebrow hair, stray threads from cloth and on certain occasions, even my chips packet :p  It works every time and has not yet lost its sharpness.

5. Nail File:

It’s another tool which I use every day. It files my fingernails and toe nails equally well. The ragged edges are very useful to file. The hook shape on the tip helps to remove any nail dust that gathers on the nail beds.

6. Cuticle Pusher:

I do not use this tool very often unless I do manicure/pedicure at home. It is useful to push the cuticles back and does so without hurting the skin around.

• Tools are normal sized which makes them convenient to hold and easy to use.
• Provides a very good grip while using for manicure/pedicure.
• Made of brushed stainless steel, which makes it durable and strong.
• Even with multiple uses, the edges continue to remain sharp.

Cons of Sephora Collection Manicure Kit:

• I did not find any con with this tool kit.

Would I Repurchase Sephora Collection Manicure Kit?

Once the tools wear out and I need a new set then yes, I will buy another kit again. In case you like doing manicure/pedicure at home, I would highly recommend this kit to you 🙂
